Funding and support for Artists and individuals
We hope you are coping amidst the challenging circumstances of COVID-19. As an arts organisation we do understand the pain you are experiencing. With many events cancelled and uncertainty around the future, the arts sector is going through difficult times and is worried about its survival. In response Government and other funding bodies have announced various grant and support schemes specifically for the arts sector and artists to enable us to get through these times. On this page we have collated information on funding being offered by Arts Council England and from other sources.
New Government Funding £1.57 Billion rescue package for the Arts sector
On 5th July Government has announced a new funding and rescue package for the Arts sector. We are waiting for a breakdown and details on how this would be shared among the arts, heritage and cultural sector in the UK. We will be updating this section as news is received.
Arts Council England Project Grants is back
After a brief closure, this funding is back. Further details will be announced soon from the Arts Council England website.
Arts Council England Emergency Response Fund (this scheme is now closed).
ACE is making £20 million available to individuals working in the cultural sector, including artists, creative practitioners and freelancers. You can read ACE’s Chief Executive Darren Henley’s blog here.
