Punjabtronix – touring in 2017
In partnership with Watershed, Bristol, we are looking forward to developing our international project Punjabtronix in 2017. The project will help promote international collaborations between artists from England and India, in response to a wider cultural programme ReImagine India 2017.
Punjabtronix will feature an innovative collaboration between established British-Indian electronic music producer Swami and traditional Punjabi folk musicians. Swami will be visiting India in February for a residency with Punjabi musicians, before they tour to UK venues in July.

Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali – UK tour
In March we will be bringing Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali group from Pakistan to the UK for a very special tour to UK venues. Nephews of the legendary qawwali maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rizwan-Muazzam have performed at major festivals around the world since the late 1990’s. Torchbearers of the Qawwali tradition, they are preparing a very special show to celebrate the legacy of their uncle in the 20th anniversary since his passing, and will perform a number of Nusrat’s own songs alongside Qawwali favourites.
