In summer 2019 we produced an extensive UK and European tour with the pioneering Hindustani slide guitarist Debashish Bhattacharya and his trio.
The tour began with a sold out performance at Norwich Playhouse on 25th May as part of the Norfolk and Norwich Festival. We then toured the Trio around the UK from May – August, with concerts at Bimhuis Amsterdam, Kings Place London and Lakeside Arts Nottingham, to name a few. We also presented them at prestigious festivals, including WOMAD and Shambala.
In total, we presented 17 concerts between 25th May – 25th August.
The responses from audiences was excellent with a run of sold out shows. We also worked with a number of new venues and festivals for the first time on this tour, including Borough Theatre Abergavenny, Subscription Rooms Stroud, Middlesbrough Town Hall, Key Theatre Peterborough and Glastonbury Town Hall.
