To launch our 2017 international showcasing programme, we took British-Asian sitar player Roopa Panesar to New York in January.
Performing in a new collaboration with percussionist Pirashanna Thevarajah and tabla player Nitin Mitta, the showcasing tour included 3 concerts and 2 live radio show performances and interviews.
Roopa Panesar and the trio were received with great acclaim and we plan to take Roopa Panesar back to the USA later this year on a full North American tour.
