One of the UK’s finest sitar players, Roopa Panesar will be performing at St. John the Evangelist Church.
Fusing the worlds of Indian Classical, Jazz and Western Classical music, Roopa Panesar brings us a night of music that will both thrill you with its incredible virtuosity and provide moments of calmness and serenity. Regarded as one of the UK’s greatest sitar players, she’ll be accompanied for this performance by percussionists from both the Hindustani and Carnatic traditions.
She will be joined by tabla player Shahbaz Hussain, Carnatic percussionist by RN Prakash and sound by David McEwan.
