Rhythm Utsav is an annual event of Indian classical music and dance in Bristol.
Once again, we’re delighted to work with Rhythm Utsav to present this special event in Bristol, supporting local South Asian communities, especially children and young people, in learning and performing new music and dance through a new music commission with Roopa Panesar, Giuliano Modarelli and Sudarshan Singh. This will be the 8th year of Rhythm Utsav and everyone is welcome to be a part of the art and cultural celebration.
Roopa Panesar , one of the finest Sitar players, has toured extensively in the UK and Europe, performing at major festivals and prestigious venues. Giuliano Modarelli, originally from Italy, is a exceptionally innovative guitarist based in London, a prolific composer and producer. Sudarshan Singh, one of the leading Table artists in the UK, accompanies maestros across the globe. There will be music and colourful , rhythmic dance performances by the students of Bristol-based music and dance schools. Buy your tickets here.
