PunjabTronix electronic set at Trélazé Festival with Deep Forest and friends.
DJ Swami and John Minton will perform a PunjabTronix electronic set at Trélazé Festival in France on 25th August.
DJ Swami’s live electronic drum machines, synthesizer arpeggios and basslines are layered with the powerful distinct rhythms and melodies of the Punjab, synchronised with John Minton’s visual projections of original digital animations and cinematic Punjabi imagery.
PunjabTronix is a cutting edge experience of technology and British electronic music connecting, exploring, improvising and conversing with the raw energetic DNA of Punjab – culminating in an exciting new musical and visual experience.
The event also features ethnic-electronica pioneers Deep Forest, Senegalese musician Alune Wade and dub-electronica artist and record producer, Gaudi.
