Nikita Balasubramanian is a creative thinker with a strategist’s mindset and a deep love for storytelling in all its forms. At Asian Arts Agency, Nikita is exploring the vibrant intersection of culture, community, and live music in the UK.

Before stepping into the world of marketing, Nikita studied Film and spent several years behind the scenes leading some of India’s most iconic reality shows, including Indian Idol, Dragons’ Den (Shark Tank India), Dance+ and MasterChef India with broadcasters like Disney and Sony. As an Executive Producer she was passionate about crafting compelling content that connected with millions of viewers and is extending those learnings to the South Asian art landscape in the UK. That passion and a yearning to learn led to a career pivot — an MBA that opened new channels paving the way for her current journey.

Since then, Nikita has worked with brands applying a customer-first lens in marketing and strategy and bridging her experiences to contribute to the UK’s cultural sector.
In her spare time, she can be found cooking with her heart while eyeballing ingredients, exploring new places and chasing sunsets.
