Led by the Asian Arts Agency, the major Cultural Leadership Programme funded project 'A Different Direction: Bristol' is at an exciting stage with the recruitment of consultants to deliver the training strand of the project. The initiative brings together a range of eight cultural organisations in Bristol to challenge and inspire the city’s leaders to improve the diversity of the city’s cultural leadership. In addition, we will soon be putting a call out for independent cultural leaders to apply to take part in the programme for their own professional development. These could be artists, curators, producers or managers, including people under-represented in the current leadership ecology. Bursaries will be available to the cultural leaders taking part in the project. Participants will benefit from tailored leadership development, one-to-one coaching and work shadowing/mentoring on an event with the project partners. More details to follow soon.
