Asian Arts Agency are very excited to embark on their first international US tour: with the mighty Dhol Foundation!
Led by Johnny Kalsi, The Dhol Foundation is a mighty Bhangra-style rhythm explosion of drum and bass, tabla and hip hop (with a Celtic twist), a powerful drumming and dancing spectacular.
The Agency will showcase The Dhol Foundation at New York City’s prestigious globalFEST, followed by performances across the east coast in D.C., Boston, and NYC.
The band has featured in the music of Hollywood films; Gangs of New York and The Incredible Hulk, they have worked with Peter Gabriel on the soundtrack for films such as Rabbit Proof Fence and The Last Temptation of Christ and no one will forget their storming performance at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
