We are delighted to announce The Dhol foundation's North America debut tour!
Get ready for Impactive dhol drum routines, pounding bass, wicked guitar and tabla and a host of guest singers, The Dhol Foundations love of world music and the bands journey through contemporary and traditional music are what make The Dhol Foundation unique and spectacular.
After performing earlier this year at the selectively juried Globalfest event in New York as part of our International Showcasing program The Dhol Foundation will now tour across the Mid-West through Des Moines, Madison, Bloomington to the East Coast through New York City, Washington DC, Toronto and Boston!
The bands previous performances include the official Closing Ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic Games, as well as at the Jubilee Celebration of Queen Elizabeth II. They have played major venues throughout the world, from London’s iconic Albert Hall to festivals including WOMAD, Beautiful Days and Boom Town. Their music has also appeared in major motion pictures such as Gangs of New York and The Incredible Hulk.
