Do you love music? Are you an aspiring DJ / musician? Then this exclusive Asian music workshop is for you.
Asian Arts Agency is offering you the chance to work closely with Mercury Award nominee DJ Swami, producer and band leader of Swami (So Who Am I?, DesiRock), producer for Apache Indian and winner of the Best Producer award twice at the UK Asian Music Awards.
This exclusive workshop, based around Asian music and influences, will give you the opportunity to work with groundbreaking music equipment and technology, learn and develop new skills and techniques, and a chance to experiment with unique instruments and sounds.
During the workshop, Swami will introduce you to DJ mashups and playlists using Pioneer Rekordbox software and CDJs, Beat making in Ableton Live, Electronic music bassline and melody making using analog and modular synthesizers, and live instruments and vocal looping. Swami will also discuss what it takes to work in the electronic music, Bhangra and Bollywood sectors today and how this music industry works.
All DJ & musical abilities welcome (beginner to advanced).
